Why do you need industrial-grade memory cards instead of their cheaper consumer-grade counterparts?

Industrial-grade cards are made to endure severe operating conditions such as high impact, continuous vibration, low  and/or high operating temperature. These cards are durable and can last intensive reads/writes. Certain cards are even made to be moisture-resistant. Consumer-grade memory cards are not as durable. For most of the industrial applications which normally require intensive I/O cycles, the consumer-grade cards tend to fail prematurely.
We only offer flash storage products that are High shock & vibration-resistant and meet military MIL-STD 810F standards.

APRO manufactures Industrial ATA cards for wide operating temperature range (-40 ~ +85 deg C) and commercial temperature range (0 ~ +70 deg C). 
Operation Tolerance:  Vibration: 15G peak-to-peak; Shock: 1000G. Altitude: 70,000 ft. Meets MIL-STD 810F standards.

For 64MB or lower capacity cards, PIO-4 & removable-disk mode and DMA-enabled are set as default to be widely compatible with new and old platforms. Both the original Titans Series (up to 150x speed) and the latest 266x speed Hermit series ATA flash cards are offered. Titans series cards are available up to 8GB. These cards use advanced 3S controller and supports either support either PIO-4 or UDMA-4 mode. (Choose UDMA version only if you are sure your platform supports UDMA-4 speed.)  For high capacities, however, we recommend the Hermit series ATA flash cards, up to 16GB.

Hermit Series Industrial Rugged PCMCIA ATA Cards use Hyperstone Controller and are rated at 266x speed. Hermit series cards can have many different versions:  with the following different (-UF/-UA/-PF/-PR/-PA/-AF/-AR/-AA) suffix. The -AA version cards are most versatile and hence recommended since they can automatically detect and switch to fixed disk or removable disk mode. It can also automatically detect and switch to PIO- or UDMA- data modes. If your applications call for a particular mode, please let us know.
