Order Instructions


The following is some information about PSI's policies concerning your order. Please read carefully. 

PSI pledges that your privacy and credit card information will be protected! We do not release or sell our customer listings.


METHODS OF ORDERING and PAYMENT      
                            

Small orders are encouraged to pay be a credit card.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, PayPal and prepaid company checks or cashier's checks, and money orders. All orders with valid e-mail addresses will receive order confirmation, receipt/invoice and tracking number by e-mail

Corp./ Gov't/ University PO's may be  accepted. Late accounts will be accessed a 1.5% financial charge per each month past due and, sorry, in most cases, we can not accept international POs.

Credit Card and Paypal Order:  

If you intend to pay by a crade card or PayPal, please e-mail us at sales@psism.com first with the part numbers, quantities and your shipping address. We will email and reconfirm with you for the total amount (cost, shipping, handling, etc.) and then send you a Money Request via PayPal. From there, you can securely pay by a credit card or PayPal.  Please be advised that we only accept PayPal payments from Verified PayPal  buyers with Confirmed addresses.  International credit card or PayPal payments may have a 4% surcharge. Once order is processed and shipped out, a receipt with shipment tracking # will be e-mailed to you.

Of course, you may always call the order line (1-301-572-2168) to place your order. We will contact you to confirm your order. Your receipt will be mailed or emailed to you. 


STOCK CONDITION, BACKORDERS & SPECIAL ORDERS          

Not all items are in stock at all times. You may call or e-mail us to check about the stock condition or after you place your order we will inform you if any items are not in stock.

All MLC & SLC flash SSDs are made-to-order, so, order is non-cancelable and non-returnable once confirmed. Customers are advised to purchase samples to test and approve before placing mass orders. Due to current chip shortage, if the items are not in stock lead time may be long.

Special orders are not cancelable and not refundable once confirmed. Product warranty of special-ordered items is the same as our regular items.
    

RETURNS, RMA & SUPPORT                                             

This section is our General Return/Refund/replacement policies which apply to all our U.S. and International customers. There are added conditions concerning international orders. Read  INTERNATIONAL ORDERS section below.

All claims of damaged goods or errors in shipments must be made within 5 days of receipt. It is up to PSI and/or its supplier to determine if refund or replacement will be granted. 

Computer memories can be returned for exchange or replacement only. All refunds for non-defective items will be charged with a 15% restocking fee if returned within 28 days of the sales in its original undamaged and unmarked packaging box and in good resalable condition. No refund for return received after 28 days. All returns require RMA# and must be freight prepaid. 

Special order items and shipping costs are not refundable! Dealers' purchases can only be exchanged or returned for "CREDIT".
     


DOMESTIC SHIPPING & HANDLING                         

We normally send goods via UPS or FedEx or USPS. It will be at our discretion to choose one carrier over the other to ship unless you specify one when you order. Deliveries to APO and FPO addresses can only be made by U. S. Postal Service. If you have your own UPS or FedEx account #, we can also use your account to send. 

For international orders, we normally ship via UPS  International Expedited. 


COLLECTION OF SALES TAX for U.S. CUSTOMERS
                             

If the goods are stocked in our warehouse in Maryland, we do not collect sales taxes unless the delivery address is in Maryland. If the item(s) are not stocked in Maryland and we have to ship from a warehouse in another state, depending on the warehouse location and your location, we may need to collect local & state sales taxes. 

We will inform you if there is a need to collect sales taxes. 


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS          
                      

All prices listed at our site are in US$. As an international customer, you are responsible for paying for the goods, shipping & insurance, your country's import duties/ taxes and delivery carrier's brokerage charges. In case we need to special order some items for you, an expedite fee may be imposed. 

Sorry, international purchase orders must be prepaid. Net term Purchase Orders are not accepted.

A. Payments:

International credit card payments are generally accepted although payments by wire transfer or prepaid bank draft in U.S. fund is encouraged. (Wire transfers may be the only accepted payment method for some countries). 

--Credit Card or PayPal Payment:

A 4% surcharge (minimum $5) will be added to all NEW international customers' credit card or PayPal orders  to cover credit verification costs and/or bank surcharge. Repeated international orders using the same credit cards have a 2% credit card order surcharge. Please e-mail us at sales@psism.com first with the part numbers, quantities and your shipping address. We will email and reconfirm with you for the total amount (cost, shipping, handling, etc.) and then send you a Money Request via PayPal. From there, you can securely pay by a credit card or PayPal. 

--Wire Transfer (T/T) Payment:

For certain purchases and/or from certain countries, wire transfer (T/T) payment is preferred. We will send you our bank information to receive fund transfers..

All wire transfers are subject to a US$35-$45 extra fee to cover the charges by your bank's U.S. affiliated bank and our bank. Please e-mail to sales@psism.com when you are ready to do wire transfer.

B. International Shipping:

UPS is our preferred courier for international orders. If you have your own UPS or FedEx account #, we can also use your account to ship. 

Upon your request, we may ship via the U.S. Postal  Priority or Express Mail, which generally costs you about half of the UPS/FedEx charges. Please bear in mind that postal air mail involves two countries' postal systems and if something goes wrong it will take weeks if not months to track it down, even for insured items. By requesting the USPS delivery, you will exempt PSI from the responsibility of possible delay and/or loss although we do insure all packages.

Besides shipping charges, your country may also levy import duties and/or value-added taxes on the goods. It's your responsibility to pay those extra fees and taxes. Duties and taxes are not included in our shipping charges.
    
C. International Returns:

Please also note the following olicies concerning your international order.   

1.  Within the first month of sales we will replace any wrong shipment or defective product at our costs. However, due to the slim margin, we will not be responsible for  reimbursement of your shipping related costs. All returns must have our RMA # and must be freight-prepaid.

2.  After the first month & within the product's warranty period, as an after sales service, we will help arrange with certain manufacturers for your replacement if it turns out necessary, however, we have to charge you for the costs of shipping back and forth.
     

CUSTOMER SUPPORT & WARRANTY                   

Each product has its own declared warranty period. All warranties are carried out by the respective manufacturers/vendors.  To request tech support or return, please send email to sales@psism.com. and provide us with the sales # on the receipt/invoice in order for us to properly assist you.
