PSI-APRO Industrial 2.5" 7pin+15-pin SLC SATA Flash Drives (SSDs)
Two classes of SLC SATA flash SSDs are supplied; one is with Fast Erase and/or Secure Erase features for military and industrial use and the other is without the FE/SE features. Please click links below to jump forward.
APRO Rugged 2.5" SATA SSD Flash Disks with Fast Erase & Secure Erase

Hardware FE/SE:
-Erase the media data by hardware trigger. (by jumper setting of Pin1 & Pin2 which are located ion the front of the SSD.Software FE/SE:
- Fast Erase the media data by ATA command vender code
- Secure Erase the media data by ATA command vender codeSanitization Procedure:
- Default sanitizing by erase block data to 0xFF on file table for Fast Erase
- Sanitizing Based on NSA Manual 130-2 for Secure Erase
- Sanitizing Based on USA Air Force AFSSI 5020 for Secure Erase
Security Erase Functionality
The SE option enables quickly erasing all the data stored on the SSD. The SSD also supports the Fast Security Erase option, which is faster than the standard Security Erase option. This function is activated by the vendor-unique Sanitize command or via the sanitize hardware interrupt triggered by the Secure Erase header (if available).
Note:
FE/SE is initiated by hardware design and software vendor commands. FE Procedure is one of Default Sanitize procedures in Bon series SE SSD series. FE enables user to erase entire disk contents in a mater of second: 8GB SSD takes about 6 seconds and 128GB about 60 seconds to run the fast erase procedure for the whole disk completely. Furthermore, BON Rugged metal 2.5" SSDs also support SE (Sanitizing procedures) include NSA manual 130-2, USA-AF AFSSI 5020, DoD 5220.22-M and IREC (IRIG) 106 standards by different special firmware versions.
